Round de sombra
Abraham Cruzvillegas is an artist who also writes. This ensemble of texts is a clear testimony of the learning process between one discipline and the other. Since 1991, Cruzvillegas had written his opinions and diatribes with the purpose of starting a dialogue from the most diverse forums and tones –colloquial and academic– about the collapse, the elasticity or the atomization of those paradigms we call style, curatorship, installation, aesthetics, and criticism.
The reviews, essays, chronicles, stories, manifests and critics gathered in Round de sombra shows us a see-through panorama –but not invisible– of the author´s manias and obsessions: space, time, economic systems and art contexts.
